Whitley City, KY

March 9-16, 2018

Synopsis:

Crossroads Community Baptist Church is a vibrant church with a variety of ministries already established. The team will have an opportunity to participate in the following: The Lord's Cafe – serve lunch Monday and Friday; food give away on Wednesday. Salon available for anyone that can cut hair or paint nails. Assist at The Learning Center - after school tutoring and homework assistance, Light construction; build tiny homes. materials will need to be provided by the team). Laundry ministry - on Tuesday and Thursday, washing clothes for free and sharing the Gospel. (Quarters and laundry soap will need to brought in by the team). Horizon - visiting the adult daycare in the area. Talking and interacting with clients. The workers will have activities for the clients. They also welcome singing with the clients. Medical screenings during lunch at the café.


North Myrtle Beach, SC

March 11-16, 2018

Synopsis:

Students will spend the week serving staff and players of High Tide, the world’s largest Ultimate tournament. This tournament is made up of college teams from across the U.S; the majority of whom do not have a relationship with Jesus. As “college missionaries”, we will share the love of Jesus through service and outreach as we help run the tournament.


Reynosa, Mexico

Synopsis:

The team will travel to Reynosa, Mexico and help a local family in need by building them a house from the ground up. We will work alongside local construction workers, as well as the family who will eventually live in the house when we are done. We will also have the opportunity to help with a medical clinic, feeding program, community garden, sewing program and a woodworking shop. Finally, we will spend some time each day with the local children, leading them in various VBS type activities.
